RENTAL RULES

To drive one of our rental boats without a boat license, you must adhere to the following basic rules:

- to drive the rental boat at over 40Cv, a valid sailing license is required, which must be presented when signing the lease contract;

- be of age;

- carry a valid identity document to sign the lease contract;

- use the boat exclusively for amusement purposes, according to its technical characteristics;

- provide a valid mobile phone number when signing the contract, making sure that the telephone for which the number has been provided is fully charged and on board for any urgent communications;

- do not be under the influence of alcoholic beverages, drugs, or medications that induce sleepiness;

- do not keep large quantities of alcohol or drugs on board, even for personal use;

- do not host on the boat more people than allowed by the technical specifics;

- do not throw waste overboar;

- after renting the boat, leave it clean of any waste created on board, possibly dividing it into different bags for recycling, glass, plastic / aluminum / cans, organic, paper;

- do not carry passengers or goods, nor carry out any type of trade;

- not participate in nautical competitions of any kind;

- do not ask to be towed or to tow other boats unless it's an absolute emergency;

- do not leave any port or safe anchorage when the competent authorities prohibit navigation or, in general, when the weather and sea conditions, the state of the pleasure craft and of the people on board are such as to compromise the safety of people and / or the unit itself;

- do not direct the unit to ports or areas, or stretches of sea that are dangerous or where navigation is prohibited by the regulations of the present marine park;

- adhere to the current regulation relating to the protected natural marine area of ​​the Portofino Natural Park, which you hereby declare that you have read adequately before the delivery of the rental boat through the copies provided at Cantieri Sant'Orsola's moorings.

 

BOOKING

1. After booking online, lessees must call the number +39 3483591488 (ask for Riccardo) to confirm the reservation at least 24 hours before the requested date.

2. Up to 24 hours prior to 8.00 am on the requested date, it is possible to cancel the reservation and receive a total refund of the payment made at the time of booking. To receive the refund transfer, please email the reference IBAN to the email address This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

3. Should the client cancel the booking within 24 hours prior to 8.00 am on the requested date, they shall be refunded 50% of the reservation cost. Cancellations within 12 hours of 8.00 am, however, are not eligible for any refund.

4. Should the weather conditions be prohibitive, lessees may cancel their reservation(s) within 24 hours prior to 8.00 am or change their reservation date within 12 hoursby calling the phone number +39 3483591488 (ask for Riccardo)
5. The following information is required for any reservation: Surname, name, date and place of birth, tax code, e-mail address and true telephone number of the person making the reservation, number and expiry date of a valid document (identity card / driving license);
6. Lessees making a reservation within 24 hours of the requested date are required to call the phone number +39 3483591488 (ask for Riccardo).

 

PAYMENT FOR THE LEASE

Reservations made through the official website www.cantierisantorsola.it include immediate payment made by Paypal or bank transfer.  A security deposit may be required at the time of boarding, to be be paid in cash, for excess to the baggage allowance, as required by the laws that regulate eventual accidents, reports, or damage caused. The deposit will be returned upon delivery of the vessel if everything is in order.

 

DECLARATION OF RESPONSIBILITY

The lessee accepts under their own responsibility the total or partial loss of the money paid at the time of booking if they do not abide by what is reported with reference to paragraphs b) c) and d) of point 1 of this regulation. The lessee also declares to be aware that, in the event of false declarations, they will be punishable by law for what has been falsely declared; tohave provided the Lessor with real data for his personal identification and that the documents provided are valid.

 

SOME ADVICE BEFORE YOU LEAVE

- Suncream and sunglasses are a must 

- Bring your snorkeling gear to explore the sea bottom and admire the Christ of the Abyss in San Fruttuoso di Camogli

- bring an underwater cam for unforgettable shots

- remember to take a nice picture of yourself, our boat, and the locations you visited, then post it on social media such as Instagram and Facebook with hashtag "cantierisantorsola" to participate in any free giveaways with many surprises.

- bring your music music speakers! 

- hat and light shirt worn during the hottest hours are a must to avoid sunburn and insolation

- have a jellyfish burn stick in the backpack

- don't load yourself down, bring the bare necessary for a fun tour! 

- have a backpack or beach bags with closed pockets with you

- remember the beach towels to lie down on deck or on the beaches

- avoid milk before the departure: it may sit on your stomach! - we recommend water, fresh and light foods like fruit and vegetables, sandwiches or the typical focaccia for picnics on board. Keep savory snacks like craker or breadsticks handy to help with any bout of seasickness 

- for those who know they suffer a little from seasickness or who have been on a boat, wear special bracelets or take a tablet beforehand

- some pocket change in the wallet is always useful for any tips and to pay the difference in fuel consumption at the end of the lease. Remember that the buoys of San Fruttuoso and Punta Chiappa cost € 10 per day. Credit cards or debit cards, on the other hand, are well accepted at local restaurants and for the payment of the rental of the pleasure boat, before going out.
